Services
Installation
As long as there is a gas point behind the cooker then the charge for the install will be £65.00 This charge includes all the labour charges and all materials needed to fit your cooker except for the gas cooker hose as we can use your existing one if it is in good condition. If we supply and fit a new hose then an additional £14.00 charge will be made.
Range Cookers
Please note that if your new cooker is over 60cms wide it is classed as a range cooker. There will be an additional £20.00 charge added to the standard £65.00 installation fee.
Dual Fuel Cookers
We will only connect Dual Fuel cookers to the gas supply, please note that we do not connect the electrical side of this type of cooker. We can recommend an electrician but you will incur an extra installation charge by the electrician.
Moving House
If you are moving house then please note it is illegal to just unplug your gas cooker from the gas supply. We offer a service to disconnect the gas cooker and cap off the gas supply in your old house, this will be £35.00
We will connect your cooker up at your new home for £65.00 or if you have to have a new gas cooker hose it will be £74.00
Disconnection
We will safely disconnect your gas cooker from the gas supply and properly cap the gas supply off for £45.00
Note it is illegal to just unplug your gas cooker and leave the bayonet fitting
Used gas Cookers
If you have bought a gas cooker that has been used then we will install the cooker (to manufacturers instructions) The normal charges will apply and we will carry out a safety check on the cooker. If it fails any of the safety checks the installation fee will still be chargeable but the cooker could be disconnected.
